WELCOME HOME
Welcome to the G.I. Joe Collectors' Club Chicago Division (GIJCC Chicago) website. The GIJCC Chicago was formed in 1998 by and for collectors of G.I. Joe and other 1:6 scale and 3 3/4" action figures. GIJCC Chicago strives to keep fun in the hobby - just like you remember when you first played with G.I. Joe whether in 1964 or yesterday.
GIJCC Chicago provides opportunities for members to advance their hobby goals through :
- sharing collecting and customizing tips,
- hosting swap meets and our annual Show,
- attending toy shows and national GIJCC conventions together,
- visiting military and related museums,
- presenting G.I. Joe exhibits & dioramas to the public, and
- socializing with our friends and families at picnics and restaurants.
The GIJCC Chicago Division has been recognized officially as a local affiliate Division of the national GIJCC, Fort Worth, Texas since 1999. The national GIJCC, which is licensed by Hasbro, has a monthly club newsletter with its ad newspaper
Mastercollector, exclusive G.I. Joe products and sponsors an annual convention each year. For more information, please visit their website at:
